Join Paint Phoenix Purple to learn about Domestic Violence in Teen Relationships. Tuesday, October 15th at 6:00 pm at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center.

The Cactus Shadows IB Program, in conjunction with the CSHS New Voters Club is hosting a Governing Board candidate forum at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center Thursday, October 17th from 6-8pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from candidates and learn about them and their positions on various issues. This event is open to the public.
There are a lot of new guidelines and resources for our CCUSD community this school year. Here are 5 important topics to learn more about!
Cell Phones, Smartwatches, Earpods
New this year! Cell phones and other telecommunication devices are not permitted to be in use during the school day for any student in grades K-8. For students in grades 9-12 cell phones are not permitted to be in use in the classroom.

Clear Bag Guidelines:
New this year! Clear bag guidelines are in place for all high school sporting events held on CCUSD premises. Clear bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", along with certain other items, are permitted. No outside food or drink will be permitted.

Student Safety:
New this year! CCUSD will be utilizing new measures to enhance safety. Students will be required to wear their IDs (IDs and lanyards will be provided after picture day) and all parent visitors MUST bring a government issued ID to be on campus. Grades 7-12 will also utilize the "digital hall pass" to check in and out of the classroom.

In order to vote in the November general election, you must register by the deadline of October 7th.
